1. Who is responsible
Fermosa BV, Louis Van Houttestraat 48, 9050 Gent, Belgium (BE 1022.391.876) is the controller of your personal data. Questions or requests: drink@fermosa.be.
2. What we collect and why
- Orders: name, address, email, phone number, order and payment status. We need these to process, deliver and invoice your order (performance of the contract) and to keep our accounts (legal obligation).
- Customer service: what you send us by email or via the contact form, to answer you (legitimate interest).
- Emails from Fermosa: order and shipping emails (contract). If you are a customer, we may also email you about similar Fermosa products; if you sign up, our newsletter (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
- Website and advertising: with your consent via the cookie banner, we measure how the site is used and how our ads perform (Google, Meta). For orders we may share hashed (encrypted) contact details with Meta to measure ad results. See our Cookie Policy.
- Age: for alcoholic products we ask you to confirm you are 18 or older. We store that confirmation in a cookie on your device only.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share what is needed with service providers that work for us:
- Mollie (payments)
- our delivery partner (shipping your parcel)
- Klaviyo (emails)
- Google and Meta (statistics and advertising, only with your consent)
- Stape (server-side measurement)
- our website hosting, WordPress/WooCommerce and Jetpack (running and securing the webshop)
- our accountant, and authorities when the law requires it
Some of these providers are based in or process data in the United States. Transfers then rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
4. How long we keep it
- order and invoice data: 10 years (Belgian accounting law)
- customer service messages: up to 2 years after the last contact
- email marketing: until you unsubscribe
- cookies: see the Cookie Policy
5. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time, for cookies via “Manage consent” at the bottom of every page. Send your request to drink@fermosa.be; we reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
6. Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We do not see or store your card details; payments are handled by Mollie.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
